Our coaches are the driving force behind the success of the UNIVERSAL GYMNASTICS competitive teams. Their enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, and genuine love for the children they coach is the foundation upon which our award-winning teams have been built.
Yin Eloy Alvarez is a professional gymnastics coach and the founder of Universal Gymnastics. In a short time, his teams have become the teams to beat at state, regional, and national competitions. Alvarez has created an environment of excellence, where all children are welcomed to learn the skills of a gymnast.
Both Alvarez and Maria Gonzalez, our head coaches, grew up in the sport. Both attended the National School of Gymnastics in Havana,Cuba, and competed internationally as members of the Cuban National Team.
All of the outstanding coaches at Universal Gymnastics are safety certified.
